About Best Friends

This piece is a personal favourite of mine as my own pagoda cat/best friend 'Texas' is doing what he does best, sleeping on a red plastic chair. The other dogs and cats featured are animals that have been adopted by many of my best human friends

It’s a scene that lots of us living in Cambodia have experienced. Many animals here are well treated and looked after but many are dumped in pagodas where they don’t always receive the care they need or live wild on the streets. The following organisations - Paw Patrol, Siem Reap Pagoda Cats, Four Paws International and Animals of our World work tirelessly to care for these beloved beasts. Their work is crucial in preventing suffering and the spread of diseases, stopping the dog meat trade and ultimately improving the health of all local animals living alongside us.
